英語(yǔ)中there be句型就近原則

就近原則，顧名思義，就是以近處的主語(yǔ)為主。在there be句型中出現(xiàn)兩個(gè)及以上的主語(yǔ)時(shí)，be動(dòng)詞的選擇就應(yīng)該以較接近的主語(yǔ)為主。

there be句型中be動(dòng)詞的單復(fù)數(shù)形式由后面挨近的一項(xiàng)的單復(fù)數(shù)決定。如：

There is a pen,two books and many pencils on the desk.

在本句中盡管有鋼筆、書(shū)和鉛筆，但是由于離be動(dòng)詞最近的一項(xiàng)是單數(shù)a pen，因此be動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)is。再如：

There is a book and three cats.

有一本書(shū)和三只貓。

反過(guò)來(lái)，有三只貓和一本書(shū)，則要用are:

There are three cats and a book.
