there后面跟is或者are都可以，there is+第三人稱單數可數/不可數主語+地點狀語（介詞短語）；there are+復數主語+地點狀語（介詞短語）。

there be句型的結構

1.there is+第三人稱單數可數/不可數主語+地點狀語（介詞短語）

（1）There is a ruler on the desk.書桌上有一把尺。

2.there are+復數主語+地點狀語（介詞短語）

（1）There are four apples on the tree.樹上有四個蘋果。
